Man Responsible For Black Friday Shooting At Destiny USA Pleads Guilty

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse man who pulled the trigger in a Black Friday shooting at Destiny USA will be spending some time behind bars.

Prosecutors say Kyree Truax pleaded guilty yesterday to shooting Devar Williams last November. The gunfire caused a lockdown on what is traditionally one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Officials say the shooting was part of a dispute between gangs that turned violent.

Truax will be sentenced to no more than seven years in prison next month.
