Syracuse Police giving a shoutout to a city resident who returned some missing cash after a crash.
Investigators say a drunk driver crashed his car into another vehicle on Court Street around 10 pm Sunday night.
The driver, Lee Williams, dropped two large stacks of cash while trying to flee the scene.
A nearby resident, Mark Lockwood, was able to recover the $18K that Williams dropped and turned it in to city police.
Williams was eventually caught after a struggle with first responders, and faces numerous charges.
