SU is set to hike up tuition prices for students when they return to campus in the fall.
The 4% increase is due, in part, to the financial losses from the coronavirus crisis. The increase will put SU's tuition to just over $50K for students admitted before the fall of 2018, and $54K for students who began their studies after fall 2018. Meal plan and room and board will also see an increase in cost.
SU lost roughly $35 million as a result of cancelled classes and other financial fallout due to COVID-19.
