Rochester, N.Y. - Wegmans employees are getting another layer of protection on the job as the coronavirus crisis continues.
President and CEO Colleen Wegman says the supermarket chain has secured enough masks for employees to wear while working. The masks are expected to arrive at stores over the next few days. Previously, workers had to provide their own masks.
The company has also installed plexiglass shields at its registers in an effort to keep cashiers safe.
