Syracuse, N.Y. - Upstate University Hospital confirmed today that 16 of its employees and two students have tested positive for coronavirus.
So far this week we have heard of at least 27 workers at Syracuse hospitals who have contracted the virus.
Crouse Hospital reported Wednesday four employees have tested positive, while St. Joseph’s Health said Tuesday seven employees have the virus.
Upstate has not said what department the employees worked in, or what their job titles were or even if they caught the virus from an infected patient.
