Man Free Due To Bail Reform, Arrested For Robbing Oswego Bank

Oswego, N.Y. - A man free due to the Bail reform law, arrested for robbing a bank in Oswego,

Police alledge that 29 year old Cornell Neilly of Watertown, walked into the Chase Bank on West First Street yesterday and demanded cash from a teller.

He was able to get away with an unknown amount of money before police arrived.

State Police pulled the getway vehicle over and arrested Neilly. Two other passengers in the car were determined to be innocent in the robbery. Neilly, who is known as the "Burberry Bandit" has several warrants in regards to previous bank robberies in New York City, but was free to wlak the streets due to the new bail reform law.
