Six Coronavirus Cases Now Confirmed In Onondaga County

Syracuse, N.Y. - Six cases of the coronavirus have now been confirmed in Onondaga County.

Officials say two of the new cases involved people who traveled to the area from New York City and Spain. Four of the County's six total cases are unconnected to travel.

County Executive Ryan McMahon says he's been talking with grocery store chains to make sure they have enough supplies for the weeks to come. Over 400 county residents have been tested for coronavirus, but many of those individuals are still waiting to find out if they're infected.
