Onondaga County Helping With Child Daycare

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County helping to deal with child care issues

County Executive Ryan McMahon announced Yesterday that the County working with Child Care Solutions will make more than 250 day-care slots available specifically for children of healthcare workers and first responders.

Monday the county shut down all schools after learning of the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in Onondaga County. That’s left many parents scrambling to find care for their children while they go to work.

So far there are still only two confired cases of COVID 19 in Onondaga County
