ACC Throws An Airball: Cancels Tournament After Saying They Wouldn't

Greensboro, N.C. - The ACC has now decided to cancel the remainder of its men’s basketball tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ACC officials made the decision just minutes before tipoff of Thursday’s first quarterfinal game between Florida State and Clemson at the Greensboro Coliseum.

ACC commissioner John Swofford had addressed the media less than two hours earlier, discussing the conference’s decision to go ahead with games with limited fan access.
