Phoenix Man Arrested Following Destructive Police Pursuit Near Oswego High

Oswego, N.Y. - A 29-year-old Phoenix man has been arrested for leading police on a dangerous car chase that left behind destruction near the Oswego High School.

Oswego Police say that Brandon Lane sped off when police tried to pull him over last Wednesday. Police gave up the chase when it became too dangerous.

After giving up the pursuit, Police say Lane drove the wrong-way down a one way, where he damaged four vehicles and forced another off of the road. He ditched the car near the scene. Police were eventually able to identify him and then arrest him a few days later.

He face numerous charges including unlicensed operation, fleeing from a police, and reckless driving.
