Number Of Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Continues To Grow In NY

Albany, N.Y. - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases is continuing to grow in New York.

Officials say a total of 11 people have tested positive for the disease that's killed thousands around the globe. Most of the cases are connected to a Westchester County man who is currently in the hospital. Cuomo also says that more than 1,000 individuals are being quarantined over the virus, many of whom have no symptoms.

Governor Cuomo says coronavirus is likely to spread since New York is an international travel destination, but he's urging people not to panic.

Doctors say the best way to stay safe is to practice good hygiene.
