Gov Cuomo Announces A Second Case Of Cornoavirus In NY

Albany, N.Y.- A second person in New York has contracted the Coronavirus:

Both of the state's confirmed cases are downstate. Gov. Cuomo says that a man lives in a Westcheser County, a northern suburb of New York City. He travels to Manhattan for work, but did not travel to China or any other country on the watch list for the virus. He had underlying respiratory conditions. Cuomo says state health officials are now trying to track down his possible connections.

SAR Academy and SAR High School in the Riverdale section of the Bronx is closing today because Cuomo says that's where the man's child goes to school. Westchester Day School in Mamaroneck is also closing for the day in connection with the case.

The first case was a health care worker from Manhattan who had returned from a visit to Iran.. She is in self quarantine at home.
