Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo wants a ban on all flavored vaping products and ads that are aimed at young people.
He says there's been a 160-percent increase of vaping by young people between 2014 and 2018 and feels it's a life and death situation.
Cuomo claims the vaping industry is gearing its product to young people, similar to what cigarette manufacturers did years ago.
He wants the measure passed by April 1st and says there's no excuse not to pass it because the health of young people is being jeopardized.
