NYS Won't Appeal Ruling In T-Mobile-Sprint Merger

Albany, N.Y. - State Attorney General Letitia James says New York will no longer get in the way of T-Mobile's multi-billion-dollar merger with Sprint.

A judge recently ruled in support of the deal, which James claimed would drive up prices for customers and hurt competition. The agreement will combine two of the country's largest wireless providers as they look to take down Verizon and AT&T.

In a statement, James said she hopes to work with everyone involved in the merger to make sure consumers get the best pricing and service.
