State Police: Man Stole Nearly $50,000 From Pop Warner League

Cazenovia, N.Y. - State Police have arrested a man they say stole nearly $50,000 dollars from the Cazenovia Pop Warner Football league.

Last year, Troopers opened an investigation into the league's former treasurer, 48-year-old Nathan Hoak after discrepancies were found in the league's bank accounts. Hoak is accused of taking the money between April 2017 and February 2019 and used it to make car payments, insurance payments, pay for gasoline, groceries, cell phone bills, and other expenses.

Hoak was arraigned in Cazenovia Village Court. He is facing charges of grand larceny and falsifying business records.
