Air1 Scrambled As Police Chase Stolen Car Through Camillus, Geddes

Camillus, N.Y. - Four Teenagers were arrested following a police chase that sent the Air1 into the skies last night:

Camillus were following up on a stolen vehicle spotted in the Walmart parking lot near the West Genessee High School. State Police had reported the vehicle stolen last week. The vehicle along with a 17-year-old driver, three 15-year-old passengers, and another person, were spotted at about 8:15 p.m. Monday getting food at the Camillus Commons.

Police chased down the car through Geddes and into Westvale where it crashed into a shed at the Harborbrook Apartments on Fay Road. That’s when the driver and four passengers jumped out of the stolen vehicle and ran.

The driver was arrested following a footchase on Grand Ave. Three of the four passengers were arrested after Air1 helped to find them hiding in a shed on Velasko Road near the Bellevue Country Club.

One other passenger is still on the run.
