Syracuse, N.Y - New York State Police issuing a warning to those in the towns of Clay and Lysander, along with other...lock your cars!
In two nights three vehicles were stolen. A Chevy Equinox from an address on Bear Road in the town of Clay, and a Kia Optima and Ford F-150 pickup truck from residences on Drumlin Heights Drive in the town of Lysander. In all three instances the vehicles were left unlocked.
Troopers say thieves are looking for an easy target as seen in numerous home surveillance videos. If the car door is locked, they will move on until they find one that is not.
