Onondaga County Executive Thanking Cuomo For STEAM School Investment

Syracuse, N.Y. - County Executive Ryan McMahon is thanking Governor Cuomo today for committing money to help build the first ever county-wide STEAM school in New York State.

The STEAM school combines science, technology, engineering and math with an arts component. It's slated to be located at the old Central Tech building in downtown Syracuse.

The multipurpose facility will house a regional high school and a worker training and apprenticeship program administered by SUNY Empire State College.

The curriculum will be developed by local colleges including SU, Le Moyne College and OCC.
