As Iran Mourns, US Prepares For More Impeachment Hearings

As mourners in Iran take to the streets on Monday, the US is preparing for its next steps in the Middle East, as well as at home.

Iranian General Qassem Soleimani's daughter says his death will bring a "dark day" for the U.S. In an address broadcast today on Iranian state TV, Zeinab Soleimani taunted President Trump, saying, "Crazy Trump, don't think that everything is over with my father's martyrdom." Trump ordered Friday's drone attack that killed Iran's top general. NBC News Radio's Bill Zimpfer spoke with Dave about what to expect after the mourning period ends.

The US is also looking at a busy week as lawmakers return from their winter recess. NBC's Michael Bower and Fox's Rachel Sutherland offered their insight as to how soon impeachment hearings will take place, and whether or not President Trump is using his Middle East attack as a distraction from his upcoming impeachment trial.

And there were several controversial moments from this past weekend in sports- from the Bills to Boeheim and the boys. John DiTullio spoke with Dave about all the details.

Miss a little, miss a lot.
