Syracuse Police Looking Into Another Bias Incident Near SU Campus

Syracuse, N.Y. - The SU Department of Public Safety says they have heard of another bias incident has occurring.

The Syracuse Police are investigating the incident that was reported to DPS on Saturday, December 14th. An SU student says he was outside a bar when he was harassed, assaulted and called a homophobic slur. The student's nose was injuried in the altercation.

The suspect was described as a 6’2’ male, thin build with blond hair wearing a peacoat. It is unknown if this individual is affiliated with the University.
