Bill Fitzpatrick Cruises To Election Night Win

Syracuse, N.Y. - Voters are sticking with long-time DA Bill Fitzpatrick: has been voted to serve an eighth term as DA.

Fitzpatrick was overwhelmingly elected to an eight term. He has been the DA since 1992. The 67-year-old has worked in the district attorney’s office since 1975.

In his 28-years Fitzpatrick has established a reputation as one of the leading trial attorneys in the U.S. and has established policies here years before they are adopted by other offices across the country.

Fitzpatrick defeated Democrat Chuck Keller and Conservative Gary Lavine with 53 percent of the vote. Keller earned 38 percent. Lavine was in the single digits with 8 percent.
