National Petition Hopes To Set Up National Trick-or-Treat Day

Albany, N.Y. - Trick-or-treating on a school night was always a drag, but there is an effort now to prevent children from dealing with this travesty:

More than 150,000 people have signed the change.org petition to make the last Saturday of every October National Trick or Treat Day.

The Halloween & Costume Association is behind the petition. They say that if Halloween were always on a Saturday, kids could do their trick-or-treating during the day, when it is safer. The group says there are 3,800 Halloween-related injuries each year.
