New Court Documents In Schoharie Limousine Case

Schoharie, N.Y. - New court documents have been made public in the Schoharie limo crash case.

In them, Schoharie County DA Susan Mallery says the limo's operator, Nauman Hussain, is responsible for the October 2018 tragedy that killed 20 people. Mallory says her office talked to a former driver who worked for Hussain and told him the vehicle wasn't safe months before the accident. The driver says he constantly had to pump the brakes to get the limo to stop while working during prom season in 2017. The driver also refused to drive the limo again, so Hussain found someone else to.

Hussain's attorneys have tried to get the charges against him dropped because they claim there's not enough evidence.
