Bold Robber Holds Up Salina Bank of America Branch Near Route 11

The Onondaga County sheriff's department is looking for a bold robber who held up a bank in the middle of the day Monday in a busy Route 11 commercial district.

Deputies responded to the robbery of Bank of America in the town of Salina just before 11:30am. Reports are that the robber entered the bank at 107 Lawrence Road East, just off Route 11, and demanded cash from the teller. The robber fled in with an undisclosed amount of money in a light-colored sedan heading south on Route 11. There was no weapon was displayed or threatened and no one was hurt.

Witnesses described the robber as a white male in his 30's, 5 feet 10 inches, about 160 pounds, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with blue jeans.
