Liverpool, N.Y. - For three hours last night, at Liverpool High School, two boards in the Town of Clay listened to public opinion, sometimes very passionate opinions...on the proposed distribution center on Morgan Road.
The town and planning boards both listened to the pros and cons associated with the proposed distribution center to be built on what is now the Liverpool Country Club.
The main bone of contention seems to be the concern over traffic. Its estimated that 25 tractor trailers an hour, would be going to the center from the thruway, on what is already a busy stretch of road.
Still no word on who the actual tenant will be, once its built. A decision by the boards is not expected for another couple of months
