State Fair Day 9: $3 Thursday, Armed Forces Day, Dairy Day

Geddes, N.Y. - More than 20,000 Fairgoers flocked to Chevy Court to chill-out with Ice Cube after the rain cleared last night.

Yesterday, more than 61,000 visited the Fair. The Fair is still pacing leaps and bounds ahead of last years record shattering Fair.

Day Nine of the Fair today and everyone can get in for just $3; military members past and present get in for less!

Today is Armed Forces Day, celebrating the men and woman of the military. All active duty and veterans with proper ID get in free. There will be a special ceremony this morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial in front of the Horticultural Building.

Its also Dairy day, a day to honor the hard working men and woman of the Dairy Industry. College students are still getting in for just $1.

At Chevy Court at 2:00 p.m. Pop quintet "Why Don’t We" will bring their harmonies to the Fair for the first time.

Later tonight its time to Rock!

Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe will shake the Checy Court at 8:00 p.m.
