Tuesday was not a record breaker, but a crowd of 92,387 was good for the third highest ever for a Tuesday. The number sits abut 22,000 higher than the Fairs average for a Tuesday.
Wednesday is Women’s Day. Ladies can get in for $1. For females 12 and under and those 60 plus they get in for free for different reasons. Children are always free, including boys. Today is the last of the Fair's three Senior Days. Men over 60 also get in for free.
Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul returns to the fair for a second time this year. She is celebrating Women’s Day. scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the noon luncheon in Daniella’s Catering and Events Center (formerly the Empire Room).
