Syracuse Man Arrested For Attacking Gay Couple At The State Fair

Geddes, N.Y. - A Syracuse man has been arraigned following an attack on a gay couple at the State Fair.

Troopers say that 27-year-old Nicholas Ferlanda shouted slurs at the men and punched one of them in the face while they were trying to walk to their car Saturday night. Ferlanda then began punching their car and shattered the driver's side window.

He's now facing several charges, including felony criminal mischief.

Troopers say that the attack was bias-related.
