Former Syracuse Police Chief Endorses Fitzpatrick's Challenger

Syracuse, N.Y. - Retired Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler is endorsing the man hoping to unseat Bill Fitzpatrick as Onondaga County District Attorney.

In a letter Fowler stated he was "pleased" to endorse Chuck Keller. He sited his "record as a conscientious and caring lawyer".

He went on to say that Keller will bring a "dedicated work ethic, passion, and legal knowledge to bring about the change" that Central New Yorkers deserve.

Fowler was appointed Syracuse Police Chief in 2010. He served in the position until last year. At times Fowler and Fitzpatrick were publicly at odds with one another.
