Syracuse, N.Y. - A teenager has been arrested for trying to steal a car with a six and seven year old inside.
Syracuse Police Officers say that the 14-year-old attacked a woman standing outside of her car and drove off with it. As the teen sped off the woman continued to fight back and was dragged down Midland Ave.
Officers say that a passing driver saw what was happening and drove in front of the teen trapping the car. He ran off, but was ran down by a second person.
The woman suffered minor injuries. The young children were not injured.
The teen is charged with robbery, kidnapping, reckless endangerment, grand larceny, and child endangerment.
