A Fingerlakes mother was arrested last week after police found her three children in a car while she shopped at a Walmart Supercenter.
Seneca Falls police got a call from someone concerned about three young children left alone in a car at the Seneca Falls Walmart. Police arrived to find children aged 2, 9, and 10 inside the car. Officers then arrested Natasha Smith of Romulus. Video surveillance showed Smith was inside the store for at least 25 minutes, and the temperature that day was in the low 80's. Smith was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and released pending a court date.
