State Police Revive Then Arrest Driver Who OD's Behind The Wheel

State police make another rescue - and another arrest - of a driver who had overdosed on heroin.

Troopers responded to an auto collision Friday night involving a pickup on 81 northbound in Oswego County. They learned that the same vehicle may have been involved in a hit-and-run in the town of Cicero. At the scene, troopers determined that driver Shane Skaggs of Fulton had overdosed and he was revived with a dose of Narcan. Skaggs was ultimately charged with Driving While Ability Impaired, driving without a license, and leaving the scene of an accident where he rear-ended another car. Skaggs will be in court in August to answer all his charges.
