Liverpool School Disctrict And State Police Warn Of Suspicious Man

UPDATE : A Statement from the Liverpool Distirct has just been released...

" New York State Police have investigated this morning’s incident and concluded that the individual legitimately works for Southwestern Advantage, a company that sells educational resources.

While he does have a legal permit to solicit sales door to door, he does not work for or with the Liverpool Central School District as he has claimed. He also claims the district provided him with a list of its students, which is not true."

The State Police say the man does not pose a threat.

Liverpool, N.Y. - The Liverpool Central School District is warning community members about a suspicious man..

The man claims to work for the district and is looking to evaluate kindergarten students.

The school district says he does not work for or with them. New York State Police are investigating.

The man is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s and wearing a blue top with khakis. He was driving a late-model green Acura with non-New York State license plates.
