Owner of Ren Fest , Santa's Workshop Settles Harassment Lawsuit

Oswego, N.Y. - An Oswego landlord is accused of sexually harassing tenants in low-income housing.

Doug Waterbury owns the Sterling Renaissance Festival and Santa's Workshop, but its how managed his 50 rental units, that has gotten him on Santa's Naughty list.

The U.S. Department of Justice says Waterbury harassed dozens of tenants offering the women lower rents in exchange for sex.

Many times he refused to make repairs unless they had sex with him.

The settled lawsuit brought against him on behalf of six tenants, says he is to pay $400 thousand dollars and have an outside company manage his apartments.

He has not however been charged with any crimes.
