APW Voters Will Re-Consider A Budget Voted Down Last Month

Parish, N.Y. - After striking it down last month, voters in the A-P-W School district will be asked again to vote on the same budget.

The $32.8 Million budget raises taxes by 1 percent. It was voted down by just 54 votes.

District officials are blaming misinformation about the tax rate increase as the reason the budget failed in May. They say they've clarified the increase and are confident the budget will pass today. The revote will be held at the APW District Office conference room from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
