Albany, N.Y. - In the 11th Hour lawmakers in Albany are resurrecting an effort to legalize pot for grown-ups:
Members of Cuomo's administration spent the weekend negotiating a bill with leaders in the Assembly and the Senate.
There is no word if a deal has been reached.
The bill would need to be printed soon if lawmakers hoped to vote before the scheduled end of the session on Wednesday.
If the timing doesn’t work out, Cuomo has the power to suspend the usual process through a “message of necessity,” enabling lawmakers to vote on the bill without reviewing it.
