New York Court Of Appeals To Hear Nuelander Case

Syracuse, N.Y. - The New York State Court of Appeals, the highest court in New York, will hear oral arguments in the Robert Neulander case.

This is not a trial, moirnally each side gets about 10 to 15 minutes to present their case. Those arguments will take place September 5th.

The DA's office is appealing a lower court decision to overturn Neulander's 2015 murder conviction.

Nuelander was sentenced for the murder of his wife, Leslie, in 2012, but an Appellate court overturned the conviction based on jury misconduct.

He was granted a new trial in June of last year, posted $1 million cash bail and has been free ever since.
