DeWitt, N.Y. - If your evening commute brings you through DeWitt, there are some lane closures you need to know about.
Some lanes on Erie Boulevard East between Bridge Street and Genesee Street will be closed as crews begin a paving project. They will be in both the eastbound and westbound lanes beginning at 6:00 p.m. through the overnight.
Work is expected to continue until Friday depending on the weather.
Motorists are also reminded that fines are doubled for work zone violations.
