Syracuse Family Displaced After Tuesday Night Fire

The Red Cross is helping the family left homeless Wednesday morning after a fire Tuesday night in Syracuse:

Syracuse Fire Officials say that the fire started in a first-floor bedroom at a home on Elliot Street a little after 9 o'clock.

The home was full of smoke when firefighters arrived. They did find fire in the back of the house and had it extinguished in about 20 minutes.

The family was able to get themselves out. Nobody was hurt.
