Syracuse Police Identify Those Involved In Sunday Shooting

Syracuse, N.Y. - Police have identified the officers involved in a shooting Sunday.

5 officers responded to a domestic dispute on Frisbie court. They met Tyiesha Fletcher 33, who was armed with several knives.

During the confrontation Officer Andrew Murphy discharged his weapon striking Fletcher. Her injuries were not severe.

Murphy a 5 year veteran, is on administrative leave pending a grand jury review.

The other officers, Sgt. Shawn Hahn, Ofc. Christopher Updike, Training Ofc. Linda Perez, and Training Ofc. Brandon Southwick, are on administrative leave pending an internal review. .

Fletcher will be charged with menacing an officer, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief.
