Syracuse, N.Y. - An Auburn man has been arrested after he hit a State Trooper during a traffic stop on Merriman Ave near the Syracuse Upstate Market on Tuesday.
Trooper Andrew Skerpon pulled over Shaun Clark. Clark was asked to get out of the vehicle and he did, briefly. He sprinted back into his vehicle and sped off. When Clark sped off -- he dragged Trooper Skerpon with him as he drove into a building. Clark then drove backward directly into the trooper's car pinning Trooper Skerpon between the two vehicles.

Fortunately, Trooper Skerpon is already out of the hospital.
