Drunk Driver Tased Following Syracuse Hit And Run

Syracuse, N.Y. - A drunk 35-year-old was tased during his arrest for a hit and run on Syracuse's Northside.  

State Police caught up with Charles Duffy on Bridge Street in Geddes. There he told officers he struck some property at the intersection of North Salina and Wolf streets and drove off. But when Troopers tried to arrest him, he resisted, forcing Troopers to use a stun gun to get him to comply. 

Duffy was charged with DWI, resisting arrest, along with other charges related to the hit and run.
