Dino Babers Places Second In ACC Coach Of The Year Voting

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse's football coach Dino Babers  has another thing to be proud of this year. He placed second in ACC Coach of the Year voting.

In his third season at the helm in Central New York, Babers led the 18th-ranked Orange to a 9-3 regular-season record, the program's best since 200 and a second-place finish in the Atlantic Division behind No. 2 Clemson.

Clemson's Dabo Swinney won the award for the second time in his career after leading the Tigers through an undefeated regular season.

Heading into the campaign, ACC media predicted SU to finish last in its division.
