Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo has signed off on a bill increasing compensation to Gold Star parents.
Under the current legislation, they're only eligible for 500 dollars a year. This new law allows them a yearly increase at a rate equal to the percentage increase of benefits approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs. The Gold Star annuity provides
