Syracuse Police Ask For Public's Help In Locating 60 Year Old Man


UPDATE: 11/8/2018  -  Angel Gonzalez has been found . Not long after Syracuse Police reached out to the public for help, a Town of Manlius Police Officer recognized him in Manlius. He was in fine health, and safely reunited with his family in the City of Syracuse. 



Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse Police Department is attempting to locate an endangered missing person who was last seen on Monday, around  4 in the afternoon. 

Angel Gonzalez was last seen walking away from a family member’s residence at on Cortland Ave. in the City of Syracuse, and has not been seen since. 

Gonzalez suffers from dementia.  He was last seen wearing oversized faded blue jeans, a white jacket which has blue sleeves and a blue hood, and orange Nike sneakers with white logos on them. 

Gonzalez is a 60 year old Hispanic male, who is 5’7” tall and approximately 140lbs with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.

Gonzalez speaks Spanish, and may not respond if spoken to in English.
