Republican Congressman Chris Collins will likely remain on Capitol Hill. He's declared victory over Democratic challenger Nate McMurray in the race for the 27th Congressional District. Collins was re-elected despite being arrested in August on federal insider trading charges.
23rd Congressional District incumbent Republican Tom Reed defeated Democratic challenger Tracy Mitrano to serve a fifth term. Some pooling showed that it could have been close but Reed won by nearly 10-points.
In the 21st Congressional District, incumbent Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik to serve a third term representing the North Country and Capital Region.
