BREAKING: Couple Arrested In Sodus Double Homicide

Two people have been arrested for a double homicide in Sodus last month.

Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts says Timothy Dean and Charlene Childers are charged in the deaths of 28-year-old Joshua Niles and 24-year-old Amber Washburn. The young couple were found outside their home October 22nd.  Washburn is charged with conspiracy and a weapons charge.  Dean is charged with first degree murder.  Wayne county is awaiting extradition of Dean from Texas.

Last week, both Dean and Childers were arrested on charges unrelated to the Sodus murders.  Childers and Dean are currently married.  Childers had just lost a custody battle with Joshua Niles, who Childers had been married to previously.
