Syracuse Police Search For Robbers Who Stabbed Man

Syracuse police are looking into a robbery attempt that led to a man being stabbed on Midland Avenue Sunday.  

Officers were directed to Upstate Hospital around 8:40pm where a 27-year-old man was brought by a personal vehicle.  The man told police he was walking on Midland near West Onondaga when two men demanded money from him.  When he refused, one of the men stabbed the victim in the shoulder with a pocket knife.  The victim's injury is not believed to be serious.  Police have no other suspect information.
