Liverpool Man Arrested After Crashing Stolen Truck

Liverpool, N.Y. - A Liverpool man was arrested after he slammed a stolen pickup truck into a utility pole on Old Liverpool Road Sunday afternoon.

Onondaga County Sheriff Deputies say that Christopher Gall stole the truck from the side of Electronics Parkway and sped off towards Old Liverpool Road. Investigators say minutes later, 911 calls came in saying that truck had crashed into a utility pole and then ran away.

Deputies searched the area around the crash and they arrested Gall. He was arraigned last night on six charges including grand larceny, driving without a license, and leaving the scene of a crash.
