Syracuse Police Investigating Man Shot In Leg

Syracuse, N.Y. - Wednesday night around 9:15 , Syracuse Police Officers responded to Upstate University Hospital, regarding a shooting victim.  

At the hospital they met with a 30 year old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and his injury was not considered to be life threatening.

The victim said he was walking on S. Geddes Street near Rowland Street when he was shot. After being shot, the victim walked to a family members’ house to get a ride to the hospital. The victim did not provide any suspect description to investigating Officers.
